Ensures mold fleet is maintained, repaired, and improved within allotted schedules and budgets, achieving on-time repairs, and world-class cavitation levels in a safe, efficient, environment. Selects, trains, develops, and leads staff to meet KPI’s. Works closely with other departments as a part of plant’s leadership group to meet and exceed objectives.

To ensure correct material is staged at the appropriate molding machines for continual production. Verify correct material is stationed at molding machine, and is uncontaminated. Meanwhile, they must ensure the molding machine, hopper, and grinders are thoroughly cleaned. And they must be able to communicate effectively with the corresponding shift supervisor about various issues.

The Mold-Set Technician will perform mechanical tasks on molds and components. Including but not limited to: dis-assembly/assembly, mold cleaning, mold component measurement, as needed changeovers, and performing preventative maintenance on the tool base.

The Quality Inspector performs first piece, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies per control/quality plans. The Quality Inspector will review and, with the approval from the Quality Manager, assist in the final release documentation.
